A Mean Time Between Failures 2019 (on its festival run)

The surreal short film portrays the story of a couple, who have lost their daughter in a car accident and must relive this tragedy, after Mary - the wife - forgets the traumatic experience after a brain operation. The film follows Frank - the husband - who tries to find and reconnect with Mary in both reality and the dream world.

"A Mean Time Between Failures" is a short graduate thesis film of Alison Burns and Daniel Menzel within the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt Bachelor of Arts program.
